If you live on the East Coast, north of Florida, you need to keep a close eye on Hurricane Florence. The chance of it hitting the East Coast have increased AND it could be a "Big Ticket Item" all the way up to New England next week. The big risk in MAJOR FLOODING in areas like PA and NY that have already had too much rain. As all of use living in Houston found out last year, you do not need to live on the coast to be impacted by a hurricane. Flooding is a much larger problem than the wind.

"Houston We Have a Problem"

Another hurricane is forming behind Florence. It will be named "Helene" early next week. It is further South and the models show it going under Cuba and entering the Gulf of Mexico. If so, it will have an impact on oil & gas production and may impact the Texas Gulf Coast.

The good news is that after Helene, the chances of a major hurricane forming go down quite a bit.
