COViD-19 Virus Update - Mar 22
Posted: Sun Mar 22, 2020 11:27 am
As more testing stations spread out across the USA and Europe, the number of confirmed cases increases.
316,659 Confirmed Cases
-94,176 People who have recovered just because their immune systems could beat it
-13,599 Deaths
--------------
208,884 Active Cases < Compare to global population of 7,800,000,000
==========
Observations:
> USA has moved up into the #4 slot of most confirmed cases. With more drive thru testing stations this was expected. There are surely many more infected people who have yet to be tested. There are also many people who were infected and got over it without being confirmed. COVID-19 is no match for a healthy immune system.
> Number of Active Cases in China, South Korea and Japan drifts lower as recoveries exceeds new confirmed cases. These Asian countries seem to have it under control.
> Italy seems to have the worse situation. Deaths in Italy up to 4,825 which is 35.5% of total worldwide deaths.
> Italy, Spain, Germany and France have 38% of global confirmed cases and 52.9% of all deaths.
> Deaths in USA of 347 or 1.28% of USA confirmed cases compares to global percentage of deaths/confirmed cases of 4.29%. We have better health and healthcare facilities.
Stay safe, wash your hands a lot and keep an eye on the food supply. This too shall pass.
