The Hess Club is closing - June 10

I got an email from Jennifer the manager at The Hess Club and she told me that the owners of the Hess Club decide to give up and close the club.
There is simply no way they can make it based on the new seating and serving requirements. We've been holding our Houston luncheons at the Hess Club for over 12 years and we've become friends with Jennifer and most of the staff. This is extremely sad news for me because I know how hard it is going to be for anyone working in the restaurant business to find a new job.
As I have posted here many times, the lives lost and impacted by the global shutdown will be many times worse than COVID-19.
We have started to search for a new venue and I hope to restart Houston luncheons in September. Two of our model portfolio companies have already told me that they want to host luncheons for us this fall.
