Hurricane Hanna Hitting South TX Saturday afternoon

Hanna is now a Category 1 hurricane and is headed toward a South Texas landfall later today, with the potential for dangerous rainfall flash flooding extending well inland into northeast Mexico.
Conditions are deteriorating in South Texas, with increasing rainfall and wind gusts, as Hanna intensifies.
The eye will come onshore far enough south of Corpus Christi, so damage to refineries should be minimal. Very heavy rain should stay well south of CC. 70+ mph wind gusts and flash flooding will cause some damage to homes near the coast.
