Covid-19 Update: What % of U.S. pop will die from C-19?

Post by dan_s »

Let focus on how many Americans won't die from Covid-19.
As of October 10th, ~214,000 Americans have died from Covid-19 (including many non-citizens). Let's say by year-end that the total U.S. Covid-19 deaths rises to 250,000 (even though the death rate is declining now that we know how to treat it.)
That means more than 99.9% of Americans won't die from Covid-19! Here is the math: (331,542,197 - 250,000) / 331,542,197 = 99.9246%

My point: Wouldn't be nice if instead of the non-stop FEAR MONGERING by the media, they instead would focus on how healthy we are and that Covid-19 is no match for a healthy human immune system? It won't happen at CNN because BAD NEWS and FEAR are 10X better "Click Bait" than good news.

Facts:
The current population of the United States of America is 331,542,197 as of Sunday, October 11, 2020, based on Worldometer elaboration of the latest United Nations data.
The United States 2020 population is estimated at 331,002,651 people at mid year according to UN data.
The United States population is equivalent to 4.25% of the total world population.
The U.S.A. ranks number 3 in the list of countries (and dependencies) by population.
The population density in the United States is 36 per Km2 (94 people per mi2).
The total land area is 9,147,420 Km2 (3,531,837 sq. miles)
82.8 % of the population is urban (273,975,139 people in 2020)
The median age in the United States is 38.3 years. < The median age of people who have died from Covid-19 is 74 and most of them had other serious medical problems.

I am extremely concerned about what this FEAR is doing to our young people. I watched a documentary on NETFLIX last week call "The Social Dilemma" ( https://www.thesocialdilemma.com/ ) and I urge all of you to watch it. It focuses on the fact that a majority of our young people (under 20) are becoming addicted to online social media and literally get sick if their cell phones and access to the internet is taken away for just one day. In the last five years, suicide rates have more than doubled for teenagers and FEAR of Covid-19 (something that young people have almost zero risk of dying from) is probably going to double the suicide rate year-over-year.

Parents should be taking this very seriously.

PS: This is an appropriate post here because FEAR of Covid-19 is also the primary driver of policies that are limiting demand for oil.

Good News: Despite the pandemic, Global overall deaths this year are running below the normal range of 0.8% to 1.0% of the population. Of course the media won't mention this because it does not fit the narrative of FEAR being used to control people. The World's Population will increase by ~75,000,000 million people this year (we recently passed 7.8 Billion humans).
More people = more demand for energy.

Two months ago I watched a video from a doctor in Dallas. He said that they asked a large group of teenagers "What percentage of the U.S. population will die from Covid-19?". The answers ranged from 2% to 30%. The average answer was 9%. 9% of 331.5 million is 29,835,000 people. That is more than the total number of Americans that have died in the last 12 years.
