Oil & Gas Closing Prices - July 30

Post by dan_s »

You guys did a great job keeping WTI elevated while was on vacation!

> WTI prompt month (SEP 21) was up $0.33 on the day, to settle at $73.95/Bbl.
> In contrast, NG prompt month (SEP 21) was down $0.145 on the day, to settle at $3.914/MMBtu. < Still way above the gas prices that I am using in my models.

I will be increasing the natural gas and NGL prices used in my models as I update the models for Q2 actual results and fresh guidance. IMO the market has once again over-reacted to the MTM adjustments on hedges for the gassers. Operating cash flow is the #1 stat to focus on.
