I don't own it..too many hedges at a crap price.. forecasting a 550m loss on 2022 settlements.
On bright side, buying back stock hands over fist.

How much conviction do you have about Comstock?

I don't know if that's for Dan or me. Dan is bullish. I bought some yesterday , low 7's too low to ignore.
I dont think q4 will be that great but they have less and better hedges in 2022 so more cash flow. I think They will take more one time losses and throw everything in there that they can find so 2022 will be better.

I'm bullish on oil and NG and I want to participate on upside if I'm right. So, I prefer company's with low or no hedges. Adds risk, but the fundamentals are screaming at us

Comstock reported lower production from Q3 to Q4, primarily because they sold their Bakken assets to NOG in a deal that closed 11/16/2021 and some weather related well shut-ins. However, the Company's revenues will be up quarter-to-quarter thanks to higher realized gas prices.

Comstock is free cash flow positive and it has no near-term debt problems. 2022 operating cash flow s/b near $1.2 billion if their realized natural gas price is $3.50/mcf. Lots of free cash flow and lots of Tier One drilling locations in the Haynesville.
