Weather Forecast for April and Early May: COLD!

Based on Joe's forecast and LNG exports staying near capacity, I am now forecasting that U.S. natural gas in storage will be 350 Bcf below the 5-year average by the end of April and 400 Bcf below the 5-year average by the end of May. < This has NEVER happened.

Without a large storage build in May, it will be impossible to refill U.S. storage before the next winter arrives unless we ban LNG exports. That will not happen unless we want to crush the European economy.

Starting in mid-June natural gas demand for power generating ramps up. With large LNG exports, we could see draws from storage in July and August.

The utilities and LNG exports are already in a bidding war and it will get more intense as we move into Q3.

Watch the NYMEX contracts for NOV22 to MAR23 to go over $10/MMBtu.

This is going to be a GREAT year for our gassers.
