Watch Lists

We update our Watch Lists every weekend.

I have just posted:

We will publish our first "Drillers Watch List" tomorrow. It will go under the Watch List tab. HP and PTEN are moving to the Drillers Watch List from the Sweet 16 so it will be easier to compare them to their peers. I still like them both.

We are also starting to track 8 offshore drillers.

IMO the onshore rig count is not going to drop as far as many folks think. Plus the mix of active rigs is shifting to more high horsepower rigs that remain in high demand in all the shale plays. This is going to increase the average dayrate. IMO the drillers will be putting up strong numbers this year. HP Flex Rigs and PTEN Apex Rigs are in very high demand.
Keep an eye on little UDRL. It should have an impressive 4th qtr.

EOG and WLL will move up to the Sweet 16, making the portfolio even more weighted to oil. CRZO is on the ropes. After I see their 4th quarter results I will decide if it drops back to the Watch List. I do like their Eagle Ford and Niobrara positions.
