On a scale of 1 to 10, what is the likelihood Earthstone Energy will make another acquisition announcement this year before its declares its dividend and establishes the share buyback as they guided earlier this year?

Is Permian Resources a possible target there in the Deleware Basin? ESTE is now 100k bod and PR is projected to average 145k bod in the fourth quarter. Then Devon, on their home territory in the Deleware, buys it all?

BTW ESTE is in the Sweet 16, so you should post questions about them under the Sweet 16 tab.

ESTE will not make a run at PR. PR is much larger, and ESTE is focused on buying private companies.

ESTE will make more acquisitions, but probably not until next year.

I doubt that DVN is looking at PR or ESTE.
