Working gas in storage was 2,684 Bcf as of Friday, June 25, 2010, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 60 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 27 Bcf less than last year at this time and 287 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,397 Bcf.
As expected, the amount of gas going into storage is declining. Look for that trend to continue as more gas being used for power generation.
