Polish gas giant PGNiG has applied to Poland's Energy Regulatory Office (URE) for a gas-tariff hike that it wants to see introduced by as early as the end of March.
“A new tariff in March is a real possibility,” Marek Woszczyk, head of the URE, told Reuters.
If approved, some analysts expect gas prices to be increased by 10 to 17 percent, Parkiet wrote.
