This is just the beginning of a global energy crisis, thanks to the misguided / nonsensical energy policies of our ruling class.

"If you think the world’s energy crisis is bad right now, next winter will be worse, says the OECD" - Fortune

With millions of Americans and Europeans bemoaning the huge rise in cost to heat their homes and power their businesses during the bitter cold months, they ought to brace themselves for even worse times ahead—next winter.

“In Europe, if it is a cold winter this year, it will be complicated. But we are more concerned about next year,” says Álvaro Santos Pereira, chief economist for the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development. “Especially in the gas markets, replacing the Russian gas is going to be a challenge.”

These people are delusional, the Ukraine War has certainly contributed to the energy crisis, but it was real before the "War." IEA and Brandon have jumped on the Green Fraud strategy and have declared war on coal and oil. This article seems to attribute the crisis entirely to the Ukraine war and takes no responsibility for their own ignorance. The Saudis let them know that their "own underinvestment" is at the root of their problems. This quote is typical throughout the article: “It is difficult to see how we go back to the world, or the energy world, that existed before the war.”

Very few politicians will EVER take the blame for their stupid policies. You are 100% correct that the OECD energy policies are responsible for 99% of the global energy crisis, but Russia's invasion of Ukraine has made it worse; moving the crisis timeline up one year.

If America allows the Climate Change Wackos to determine our nation's energy policy we will go down the same path as the EU.

I am super bullish on natural gas because IMO the only sane "transition" is from coal to natural gas for electricity generation.

Wind & Solar is just an expensive waste of time. They will have close to zero impact on oil demand.
