Polar Vortex

Thought the polar vortex was to bring double digit gas prices, not sub $5. What happened. Well freeze offs mean less supply while furnaces were burning at full tilt. WTF!!!

I agree. Holiday trading can be really weird. Let's give it a few more weeks before we write off 2023.

Seems like current low NG prices could turn out nicely for CRK for the year end hedge settlements and also for year end mark to market hedges of companies who have NG ceilings or swaps at or below current pricing.

Some of crk swaps were at 2.50, they will be paying big bucks to settle those crap hedges

If they settle at end of month or quarter they will pay a whole lot less than if gas were now $7 or $8.
