I’m convinced that history doesn’t repeat but it sure rhymes.
This banking debacle is a crisis that the Fed and other central bankers won’t waste. Especially the central banker’s bank in Switzerland , the Bank of International Settlements.
The “bank runs” are a wet dream for these central bankers. The amount of chaos created among the masses by the chattering elite class in conjunction with the parrot media will create so much FUD about the safety of one’s money that the push will be more “security” at the expense of freedom. This is the economic pandemic, the central banker’s “Covid virus”. And their vaccine remedy is a global , Western CBDC.

IMO investing in companies that hold "real assets" like proven oil & gas reserves is the only thing close to safety from inflation. I agree with Stephanie that actual prices for stuff like food and clothing has probably peaked.

I "pray" that the GOP congress will do something to bring down the reckless spending by our federal government.

Declining GDP is looking in rear view mirror. Majority of latest gain came from automotive gains. Stay focused my friends.

Debt levels are way down in all three of our model portfolios. I personally love some of our small-caps (i.e. - HMENF and IPOOF) that are now virtually debt free (current assets at or above total debt).
Some of the companies have funded big stock buybacks, but I prefer paying off debt ASAP to avoid refinancing at higher interest rates.

I am more concerned about the consumers of the production than I am the producers.
