Bull by the Horns

"The person, who has the bull by the tail once, has learned 60 to 70 times as much as a person who hasn't!"
--Mark Twain (11.30.1835 > 04.21.1910. Samuel Langhorne Clemens,
known by his pen name Mark Twain, was an American writer, humorist,
entrepreneur, publisher, and lecturer. He was praised as the "greatest
humorist the United States has produced", and William Faulkner called
him "the father of American literature".)
When I was in the Boy Scouts (~age 12) I responded to a dare by going into a pen and grabbing a bull's tail. He did not like it. I was able to hang on for about a minute before I let go. I barely made it out of the pen before he stuck a horn in me. Memories of dumb stuff like that last awhile.
