The market does not currently appear to agree with Bill Powers view below. If he is right, nat gas stocks are an interesting play.

I do agree with Bill that NG could make a run over $6/mcf over the next 90 days. However, there is a ton of shale gas out there. Also, even though recent injections to storage have been mildly bullish, we are going to begin with winter heating season with full storage.
BTW EOG also forecast a short-term run-up in NG prices but they believe (as I do) that NG prices will be range bound ($4.00 to $6.00) for several more years, until the U.S. economy really picks up.
