Susan's New Year's Resolution

I sat down my wife and asked her to go a month without buying anything from Amazon. On Sunday she made it a New Year's resolution.

She almost stuck with it for 36 hours.

Dan, you are old enough to know you have no power. Men just married are typically under the illusion "I am in charge." Typically, after ages 25-30, this illusion diminishes for men. This is driven by brain development; the last part of the brain usually develops between ages 25-30. Judgment is the last competency to develop. This also results in longer mean times between "hold my beer" episodes of bravado and acts to kill one's self.
