Here is my take on what happened today.
> When the stock sale was announced this morning at $27/share, a large shareholder panicked and sold a large block of shares at the market.
> That sale triggered a lot of stop loss orders.
> REPX has normal trading volume of ~85,000 shares per day. Today over 1.5 million shares changed hands. There were not enough Buyers to stop the selloff.
> As I posted earlier, the number of shares being sold by the company only increased the outstanding shares by 3.4%. That alone only lowered my valuation by $1 to $50 per share. < Rising oil prices will more than offset this small dilution.

Riley's management team will now get out and explain why they did this deal, which will fund a strategic acquisition in one of the Tier One areas of the Permian Basin. Go to EOG or MTDR or PR and read about the well results that they are getting in Eddy County, New Mexico.
