I highlight REPX and SGY.TO starting at around the 45 minute mark.

I am finishing up the April newsletter today. I will be sent out on Monday morning.

I will record a podcast on Wednesday or Thursday.

This company was mentioned by Dan. Partially owned by REPX. RPC Power LLC
Very Interesting. Upside option for REPX if this takes off

Last Tuesday I spent 45 minutes talking to two members of the REPX management team. They are excited about the potential of RPC Power LLC.

Two years ago at an energy conference in Dallas I watched a presentation of the concept of modular power plants (for electricity) that made a lot of sense to me. The idea is that using raw gas in the field (now being sold at a deep discount in West Texas) to generate electricity to power pumps and other equipment makes a lot of sense to me.

Diamondback is also doing this. The global market is huge.

Id love to invest in this company. Makes sense to use the NG to make power and it's transportable and quick to set up

Worth watching Riley as they roll this out

Journey Energy in Canada is also trying to address this issue and they bought an NG power plant and will use their ng to power it. However, this is a fixed plant with a bunch of regulatory hurdles

Journey ceo Alex Verge did a X Spaces the other month and I believe the power plant was one of the topics. I can’t find the link to it right now, but I believe he attributed it (partly) to the recent sharp share price decline. Seems like there is built in optionality to the stock assuming success with the regulatory hurtles. I do remember seeing limited power usage advisory warnings in Western Canada in the early stage of Winter at least.
