BP: New CEO sticking with oil & gas

Post by dan_s »

As predicted, the "Green New Deal" has turned into the "Bad New Deal". This is what happens when idiots set energy policy.

OilPrice.com
"BP, responding to industry shifts and shareholder priorities, is set to reverse its commitment to reducing oil and gas production by 2030. While there are global energy crises and profitability concerns, the move reflects a broader trend among major oil companies to put shareholder returns at the forefront. As BP prepares for its first-quarter results, expectations rise for a strategic shift in production targets under new CEO leadership."

Wind and Solar Still Costly Despite Billions in Subsidies

(ENERGYNEWSBEAT.COM) "Despite massive subsidies, wind and solar energy remain expensive and unreliable compared to fossil fuels. Governments worldwide spent $1.8 trillion on green initiatives last year, but wind and solar aren't as cheap as claimed. Their unreliability and high costs for battery storage make them less cost-effective. Disposing of old turbine blades and solar panels adds hidden expenses."
