Cow farts a thing of the past?

Cows emit methane two different ways. One is from belching or burping from their mouth. The other is from the manure on the ground. Farting methane is a myth. They clearly do not understand the digestion process in the rumen.
The program sounds like a way to inject an experimental gene therapy into a cow that will than be transferred to humans as a depopulation program.
