Today Crescent Energy (CRGY) replaces Talos Energy (TALO) in the Sweet 16.

My Sweet 16 summary spreadsheet (all 3 tabs) as of 5/25/2024 has been updated and posted to the EPG website.

The forecasts for all 35 stocks in our three model portfolios can be found on the updated spreadsheet.
The stocks in our Small-Cap Portfolio and the High Yield Portfolio can be found on the 3rd tab.
My stock valuations are based on operating cash flow per share which is shown in Row R on tabs 2 and 3.

All of the individual company forecast models have been updated for Q1 results and updated guidance from the companies except for Hemisphere Energy (HME.V) and ROK Resources (ROK.V), which will release Q1 results next week.

I will be working on the newsletter all weekend. It will be posted to the EPG website late on Monday and sent to all EPG members via email on Tuesday morning, May 28.

I will be on a much needed vacation May 28 to June 2. Our next webinar will be June 4, hosted by Source Rock Royalties.

Currently 3.125 shares of CRGY is tracking very closely to SBOW.
Since SBOW doesn't pay a dividend and CRGY is currently paying $0.12 per quarter,
it seems to me I'd be better of selling SBOW and buying CRGY.

Thoughts?

Answer is Yes.

Just remember that selling SBOW is a taxable event. Stock-for-stock is income tax free.

Carlos Slim added 1,750,000 shares this week to his stake in Talos. Keep your eye on Zama.
