In "real life" I sell quick closing/fuel tank shut off valves. My supplier says they regularly sell these to wind mills because they have a 1,000 gallon tank of diesel fuel inside them to run a generator for start up in idle time.

Historians will look back on the Green New Deal and make jokes of how dumb we were to throw $Trillions at wind and solar projects. Solar makes a bit more sense to me, but can never reach the scale to replace a high percentage of the energy we get from fossil fuels.
