VTLE 7-Aug
Since WTI oil prices and HH natural gas prices during Q2 averaged more than the prices I used in my forecast models, I expect all 16 companies to announce Adjusted Net Income that meets or exceeds my forecasts.
Keep in mind that "Reported Net Income" (GAAP) includes some non-cash items like mark-to-market adjustments on hedges and impairment expense, which are not included in "Adjusted Net Income". First Call's EPS estimates are also based on Adjusted Net Income.
My stock valuations are based on multiples of annualized operating cash flow per share, which I believe are reasonable. Non-cash items (income or expense) do not impact my valuations.
"Free Cash Flow" = Adjusted Operating Cash Flow - Capital Expenditure
