EIA Natural Gas Storage Report - Oct 17

Working gas in storage was 3,705 Bcf as of Friday, October 11, 2024, according to EIA estimates.
This represents a net increase of 76 Bcf from the previous week. < 16 Bcf lower than the 5-year average.
Stocks were 107 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 163 Bcf above the five-year average of 3,542 Bcf.
At 3,705 Bcf, total working gas is within the five-year historical range.
For the week ending October 18, the build should be much lower than the 5-year average of 76 Bcf due to the cold wave.
