That was really outstanding. Historical perspective of 1968-81 on the economy was very informative as I'm suspecting that most on this board either were in diapers or teenagers. History lives to repeat itself. Summary: Commodities ,industrials and materials are only 12% of the S&P.McDonald believes that do to marked imbalances in commodity investments and the future costs of rebuilding Gaza,Ukraine and even parts of LA that these sectors will grow to 27% of the S&P in the next 5-10 years.

Chuck, thanks for the post. His case for copper is compelling. In addition he believes that Oil and Gas, materials will increase from 12% to over 30% of the S&P in the coming years.
