AI Electricity Demand is "Massive" - May 3

Post by dan_s »

Watch Financial Sense interview with Mark Mills to grasp how massive the demand for electricity will be for AI data centers.

The ONLY SHORT-TERM SOLUTION is natural gas fired power plants.

It will also help you understand why Trump's Tariff War is a "tool" to negotiate the trade deals NECESSARY to get the U.S. where it needs to go with AI. Tariffs are not a plan to replace income taxes. We MUST get manufacturing back into the U.S. or the Country is doomed to fail.

It will also help you understand how much damage the "Climate Change Wackos" have done to America's future. They are still doing incredible damage to Europe's future.

Eric Nuttall weekly update on May 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xQcqvO64ZE

New government in Canada is not good for upstream companies. Outlook for North American natural gas prices is very bullish.

Saudi Arabia's decision to raise quotas is aimed at the "cheaters" within OPEC.

If oil price stays at $60US/bbl, U.S. oil production is sure to decline. It already is.

For an illustrative visual on the potential impact in Appalachia see Antero Midstream earnings presentation slide #4. A lot of opportunities.

Hi Dan,

I have been a subscriber for forever but until now have never posted. I thought I'd share a little video link to some recent congressional testimony by Eric Schmidt, former Google CEO, on the topic of the AI "arms race" with China. He talks extensively about the energy requirements for supplying electricity to these data centers.

Watching Lara Trump Show Saturday night they filmed her and a host walking through an auto plant, think it was Tesla. What stood out to me was seeing all the lighting fixtures on the ceiling which naturally drink energy. Mot to mention all the robotic machinery for making the cars. And the plant was huge.
So, it drinks electrical power like a desert drinks water. And more plants like this are coming. Along with the A.I. data centers. And LNG loading ports. LNG/natgas looks like the future.
