Working gas in storage was 3,908 Bcf as of Friday, October 26, 2012, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 65 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 136 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 259 Bcf above the 5-year average of 3,649 Bcf.
I am expecting to get more bullish storage reports starting next week. Hurricane Sandy produced cold and windy weather over the upper midwest, an area that burns a lot of gas for space heating.
