Sweet 16 Update

Post by dan_s »

I was on vacation last week, so I have a lot to catch up on. It looks like the Sweet 16 held up well with CRZO and SM being the only two that are down a bit. Both of these companies look good to me and they will benefit from increasing natural gas prices. I think there is a very good chance we see NG trading over $4/mcf in a couple weeks.

My plan is to take a hard look at each Sweet 16 company this week and have all of the forecasts and profiles on the website updated by the weekend. We have no plans for Thanksgiving (since we played all last week), so I will be working on this stuff all week.

Our next luncheon in Houston is all set for November 29th.

I just posted an updated spreadsheet under the Sweet 16 Tab that shows my Net Income & Cash Flow Forecasts for each company. You can find detailed forecasts for each company by clicking on their logos under the Sweet 16 Tab.

I also posted a summary of my Fair Value Estimates for each stock and compare it to the current First Call Price Target. I notice that First Call has increased their target prices for most of the Sweet 16. First Call's price target for GPOR really jumped since 3rd quarter results came out.

My goal is to update all of the Sweet 16 company profiles by the end of November. I'm cracking the whip on the interns!
