Working gas in storage was 3,517 Bcf as of Friday, December 28, 2012, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 135 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 23 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 389 Bcf above the 5-year average of 3,128 Bcf.
We need a lot more triple digit draws.

Brutal Cold Waves Could be Heading for the U.S. By Alex Sosnowski, Expert Senior Meteorologist
January 04, 2013; 6:03
Chief Meteorologist Elliot Abrams and Weather Expert Evan Myers discuss the upcoming weather over the next couple of weeks.
Beginning near or just past the middle of the month, signs are pointing toward waves of frigid air moving southward across North America from the North Pole.
Much of the nation has been experiencing higher-than-average temperatures and lower heating bills so far during the cold weather season, with the exception of some bouts the past couple of weeks.
However, there are signs of a potential change on the way beginning during the second half of January.
A phenomenon known as sudden stratospheric warming has occurred in the arctic region during the past few days. The stratosphere is located between 6 miles and 30 miles above the ground.
Often when this occurs, it forces cold air to build in the lowest layer of the atmosphere then to drive southward.setliff

Sure would be nice for the natural gas market but not good for our northern tier. I grew up in St. Louis. I can remember a winter where the Mississippi froze solid and we could walk across. So, it can happen.
