Search the web for Art Berman's thoughts on the Bakken. He doubts a lot of the claims.

I am at Investfest conference in AZ.
Bakken oil does sell for a discount to WTI, while Eagle Ford and Permian Basin oil sells at a premium.
April thru May it is difficult to work up their due to Spring break-up but pad drilling has helped a lot with that.
They now have enough history on the Bakken that they should know what the wells will produce. That said, each well is different. Bakken wells should have EUR of 400,000 to 1,000,000 boe per well. Wells cost $8 $10 million each.
Not much of a gas market in ND, so lots of the gas boe's will be flared.
