Susan and I had a long trip to Iceland yesterday. Neither of us can sleep on a plane, so we were up almost 40 hours before it was bed time again. We slept for eleven hours and are now on "Iceland Time".
Today we went on a 3 hour whale watching boat ride. We saw a couple dozen whales and one came up right by the side of the boat. Very smooth seas today, so it was easy to spot the whales surfacing. It is cold here, 50F for the highs, so quite cold on the deck. We spent about a third of the trip in the heated bar area.
This is high season in Iceland, so lots of European are here on holiday.
I saw the big upgrade for Gulfport by CS. I am eager to see their production increase from the Utica. All of our Sweet 16 are going to report outstanding 2nd quarter results since oil prices have been over $90 per bbl all quarter. Higher natural gas prices will help most of the S-16 during the 2nd half.
