Eagle Ford Shale

The Eagle Ford has become perhaps the “hottest” emerging shale play given
the ‘liquids’ component throughout much of its trend. And although the Eagle
Ford shale still accounts for only a small percentage of total domestic natural
gas production, drilling activity is ramping up here at a faster pace than in any
other domestic play with nearly one-third of industry-wide new horizontal
natural gas rigs year to date put to work in the Eagle Ford.
