I took a hard look at SM Energy today. IMO it is a "Screaming Buy" at today's price. They are going to report record quarterly revenues for the first quarter.

SM sells a lot of natural gas and NGL's and their crude oil production from the Eagle Ford is growing. The Q1 spike in natural gas and NGL prices is really giving this one a revenue boost.

Permian (SM): Performance at the Sweetie Peck prospect (13.5K net acres mostly in Upton Co) continues to be robust – SM’s latest slides show the Dorcus 3035H (Wolfcamp B, ~5K ft. lateral) meaningfully outperforming a 660 Mboe type curve, having cum’ed over 135 Mboe in 250 days; more recent completions, including both the CVX 4134H/Britain 3133H have also been trending consistently higher than a 430 Mboe EUR, having topped 60/75 Mboe over 100/150 days, respectively.
