Please let me know what you think of the video that was send out today on the topic of "Building a Dividend Growth Machine".
We are making a big push this summer to increase our membership and I want to use the video as a promotion. Plus, I would like to send a video each quarter to all EPG members. I think it will enhance the value of membership.
The best way to increase our membership is by referrals from current members. Please tell your friends about us and, for those in the Dallas and Houston areas, invite them to our luncheons.
I am also available for speaking engagements as long as I can fly there easily from Houston.

Dan,
Great video. By all means keep this up. I also liked the Torchlight video. These videos add a lot. Thanks.

I enjoyed the video and found it useful, worthwhile, and very easy to follow. Quarterly videos are a great idea!

The video was terrific. I am a new member, and I see you follow sdrl. I am in sdrl, but I am also in nadl, awlcf and nfshf. Other members might be int'd in these as well; all high yielders. I believe sdrl, nadl, and nfshf are domiciled in Bermuda, so their yields do not have foreign tax taken out. Perfect for an ira.

I own SDRL myself. I used to have it in our High Yield Income Portfolio, but removed it when there was a lot of talk about how over-supplied the deepwater rig market was becoming. Last quarter's results looked very good to me. SDRL is a great company, but they do have a lot of debt.
Please post more on the other companies you mentioned.
Glad you liked the video.
We taped the HCLP luncheon presentation and should have it on the website soon. I was very impressed by HCLP's rapidly growing cash flows. They are definitely raising cash distributions, so check it out.

I owned both emes and hclp, but sold too soon. Even so, I made over 50% in each. Now I am in Victory Nickel, a two-fer. They have a good nickel property, but it is buried under frack sand. It is still a mostly undiscovered investment.

Per your request:
Nadl is a deep water, rough conditions driller in whom sdrl has a big position. They just did a deal with sdrl's help where Rosneft, Russia's largest oil company became a nadl partner and shareholder. They will use nadl not only for deep rough water, but they are also expanding nadl's business into shallow water and even dry land. Obviously, there is lots of room to grow.
Awlcf has the highest yield so, not surprisingly, the highest risk. It is a spin-off company with only two rigs. They are comfortably booked, so the yield is safe, but in 2015-16 each is likely to go down for a couple of months for maintenance. With the yield such as it is, and few followers, I will risk a bad quarter, and double down if the shares get hit.
Nfshf is also lightly followed. It is a different kind of North Sea driller in that it drills in the southern North Sea under one year contracts. It also drills elsewhere. Although they are one year contracts, the clients are pretty stable, yet the risk is there.

Kudos for a great video presentation on the EPG High Yield Dividend Growth Machine. I'm a new member, and always searching for growth & income investments, particularly in the energy sector.

Mike: it is great to have you as a new member. I just finished up our profile on MEMP. It is now my #1 upstream MLP. The profile should be sent out.
We will be updating our profiles on all of the companies in our High Yield Income Portfolio this month.
Keep in mind that I don't pick stocks and MLPs just for yield. I'm looking for companies that have revenue growth locked in, so they can sustain and increase their dividends.

The audio is continuous and easy to follow when the slides are on---of course, they are still frames. On the closeup, however, both audio and video grabs.
I suspect this is a broadband problem-- I use Verizon and have had no problem getting your earlier videos, (the ones before this current system), and movies I download from PBS, to play continually.
