EnerCom Conference Update - Aug 18

The most impressive companies today were SM, WLL and SYRG. SM presented after the market closed. They called their Bakken acquisition a Home Run.

Synergy Resources is definitely a strong candidate for our small cap growth portfolio. They have a very conservative balance sheet, focused management team and double digit oil production growth locked in for several years. Their LOE is less than $5/boe, so gross margin is outstanding; the best I saw all day.

RRC also gave a very good presentation. I talked to the CEO at the break and hope to get them to host a luncheon for us.

SN and Core Labs also very impressive. SN may top 60,000 boepd by year end.

I was not able to get into the room to see TPLM. It was wall-to-wall for their presentation.

Up tomorrow are DNR, LINE, CXO, BCEI, AREX, XEC, HK, CRZO, GST, CPE

I'm really glad you're attending that conference and appreciate your sharing all the news. It came at a good time when the price of oil is going down and everyone was either shorting or selling the oil stocks. I hope some good news comes out of AREX.
