Sweet 16 Update - August 31
Posted: Sun Aug 31, 2014 2:46 pm
Sweet 16 Growth Portfolio spreadsheet has been updated on the website:
> Tab 1 is a summary of the EPS and CFPS forecasts,
> Tab 2 shows my Fair Value Estimate compared to First Call's Price Target for each company as of 8-30-2014
Tomorrow I will be sending out updated profiles on CLR, CRZO and EOG. I will be updating the profiles for Devon Energy (DVN) and Unit Corp. (UNT) on Monday, September 1st. Hopefully, I will get Cimarex (XEC) and Gulfport Energy (GPOR) updated in a couple days (waiting on intern). All of the others are already updated and available on the website.
Oil & gas prices appear to be heading higher. It is doubtful they will go up in a straight line, but demand for both oil and gas will be increasing as winter approaches.
If you have not seen it yet, you should all watch this short video: https://vimeo.com/104772276
(Nicol Alexander, one of our Dallas area members helps us with these videos.)
All of the Sweet 16 were up last week and I think they will all be higher by year-end. The group is still trading at more than 32% below my Fair Value Estimate. SM Energy (SM) is my top pick right now.
