Dan, have you sold anything? What will you look for to tell you it is time to start buying again? Thx.
We need to see Brent oil price stabilize before buyers will return to the sector. There does appear to be a support level for Brent in the $88-89 range. We just need oil to go sideways for awhile.
What will bring buyers back are solid Q3 results and good conference calls telling analysts that they will be fine even if oil stays in the $80-$85 range for awhile. The first Q3 results will be coming out the last week of October.
We could also use a nice cold front. That would ramp up demand for heating oil and give natural gas prices a nice boost.
I don't want to post my personal trades here because members tend to read too much into what I do. I am a buy and hold guy and most of my money is now in the High Yield Income Portfolio companies.
