Energy Prospectus

I'm wondering if you're familiar with Gulf Keystone Petroleum. I'm hearing that they may have found a huge field in Kurdistan and I've heard positive comments from a few folks whose opinions I respect. Specifically, I'm referring to a poster named Denintex who I know from VF and Wiggling from VF and IV.

They think that the company is a high probability buyout candidate.

Rather than writing a really long post, I'll attach the link to their recent investor presentation From Nov 2010.

I started a position today and would like to add on a pullback. The stock has been parabolic this week.

Shares hit a new high on Friday. I hope you bought some back in July.

This kind of stuff is beyond my pay grade. Just be aware that they will not show positive earnings or cashflows for years. Bringing fields to production in that part of the world can take years. Lots of geopolitical risk.

This may be a real gem but don't bet the farm.
