Natural Gas Storage Report - April 23
Posted: Thu Apr 23, 2015 10:25 am
Working gas in storage was 1,629 Bcf as of Friday, April 17, 2015, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 90 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 737 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 101 Bcf below the 5-year average of 1,730 Bcf.
Bearish report, but cold lingering around the Great Lakes will cause some gas to be consumed this week for space heating.
I see little hope for natural gas prices improving until late 4th quarter. 2016 outlook is much better.
