New oil wells won’t offset declines in Eagle Ford Shale production in June, according to the Energy Information Administration’s latest projections.
Crude oil production in the Eagle Ford is projected to be 1.6 million barrels per day in June, down 47,000 barrels per day from May totals, according to the EIA. Going back to January, production has declined more than 73,000 barrels per day.
