NATURAL GAS INVENTORY (Week Ended 5/15/15)
Current: 1,989 Bcf
Actual Injection/(Withdrawal), per EIA: 92 Bcf
Economist Average Estimate, per Bloomberg: 97 Bcf
Previous: 1,897 Bcf
No impact on prices, but I do expect to see smaller injections this summer as more natural gas will be burned for electricity generation this summer. The U.S. is shutting down more coal fired power plants and natural gas fired plants are replacing them.
