We had good attendance of ~70 at our luncheon in Dallas on June 25, but over half the attendees were non-members that got in free. If I can count on attendance that high, it will be easier to get companies to host events for us. We regularly get attendance over 100 in Houston and non-members pay $40.

Resource Royalty (the company that hosted) pools money in partnerships to buy royalties. This is an excellent way to generate cash flow for retirement. In spite of depressed oil prices we are please to inform you that our Q2 returns are quite respectable. Distributions will go out by July 7 as we get a few royalty checks as late at the 30th of the month.

Distribution rates have grown due to additional wells drilled on fund property. Each of the funds currently have new wells being drilled. While rig count has declined by over 50% operators continue to drill in core Tier 1 areas.


Fund IV is still open and the properties have 19 currently producing wells and an additional 23 wells drilling or permitted.


A full investor letter will accompany the distributions but we wanted you to get this early look.

You should try to get a Marcellus/Utica player to host a meeting in say Parkersburg WVa. I am sure you could get locals - if it was for free. How many EPG members live in the eastern Ohio/Western Pa/WVa area?

Not enough to justify a luncheon.

Figured - someday I will try to make a "road trip".
