Lake Tahoe

Susan and I spent the week at Harrah's resort in Lake Tahoe. Beautiful area and even better weather. It was 36 Friday morning, but quickly warms as the sun rises. They do need a lot of rain/snow as the lake is down about a foot below the spillway into the Truckee River.
It looks the markets are struggling to figure out what the Fed not raising interest rates really means. In general, it should be a positive for energy companies. However, I don't think a quarter percent one way or the other makes much difference.
I saw a report this morning that said the Chinese economy may "slow" to 6.8% YOY grow this year. The U.S. would love to see grow of half that amount. The fear of oil demand in China going down are way overblown.
We are flying back to Houston today and I will be working on Saturday.
Our next luncheon in Houston is set for October 1. I'm talking to a company about hosting a luncheon in Dallas early in October.
