Active Rig Count - Dec 18

The North American active rig count dropped by another 12 rigs, but they were all in Canada.
U.S. rig count was flat but the mix changed.
> Onshore rigs drilling for oil increased by 17 to 541, compared to 1,536 a year ago
> Onshore rigs drilling for gas declined by 17 to 168, compared to 338 a year ago
Rigs drilling in Canada dropped by 12 to 162, compared to 391 a year ago.
This week's report looks more like a correction of what they reported last week.
