48 rigs thrown down in the last week, 31 oil, 17 gas. Oil rigs drop to 467 and gas to107 in US. These are BIG drops on a percentage basis...

When we stop drilling wells, production decline rate accelerates.
U.S. rigs drilling for oil down 31 to 467, compares to 1,609 in October, 2014
U.S. rigs drilling for gas down 17 to 104, compared to 314 a year ago.
Texas was down 19 to 262, Oklahoma was down 8 to 80, Louisiana was down 5 to 46, North Dakota was down 2 to 42, New Mexico was unchanged at 26, Colorado was unchanged at 22 and Wyoming was down 2 to 13. By basin: Permian was down 2 to 180, Eagle Ford was down 4 to 60, Williston was down 2 to 42, Cana-Woodford was down 2 to 37, DJ-Niobrara was unchanged at 21, Marcellus was down 3 to 31 and Haynesville was down 3 to 15.
