An early cold wave in November would be very bullish for natural gas prices. If you take the time to read through the details of Joe's forecast at the link above you will see that there is a lot of uncertainty about when winter weather will start, but they feel confident that January-March will be much colder than last year in the eastern half of the U.S.
BTW a much warmer than normal September is very bullish for natural gas since it keeps demand for power generation high.
