I have updated my forecast model for DNR and posted it to the EPG website. Take a hard look at row 41.
Then go look at Denbury's current presentation on their website. Look at slides 14, 23-25.
This should answer your questions.
Seeking Alpha: Never trust what you read on Seeking Alpha. The authors get paid by the "hit", therefore they write articles with sensational headlines to get more hits. Some articles are written by honest people, but others are not.

Good points on Seeking Alpha. I have ethical problems with Seeking Alpha also and have refused to write for them despite several calls requesting material. As you note Dan they sensationalize stuff to get hits, some are not accurate, some the articles are essentially a bait and switch type of analysis to hype or pound a position they hold. No wonder individuals are skeptical of the market
Also note that DNR tracks oil prices but is three times as volatile, so when oil does well DNR does really well, when oil does not DNR performs terrible. So easy to scare folks in light of the volatility. Long term if you think oil is headed to $75 a barrel these folks should do just fine.

I don't publish anymore, quite frankly I ran across Dan since we seemed to be trying to date the same sisters.
Dan's research and commentary really reflects my views, although I am not as bullish on natural gas and maybe not quite as much on oil but long term we agree.
My holdings now include REI, CPE, FANG, PE, EPM, NFX, all of which Dan likes more or less. And as a risky spin I like GST but it will either do very well or be bankrupt, 50-50, you just have to know you might lose it all on that bet, Dan is not as hot on GST and is correct that it is a risky bet.
