Happy New Year!

Wishing you all a great year in 2017.
More proof we are getting older, Susan & I had friends over for dinner last night and everyone was gone by 9:30. I watched the Rockets/Knicks replay, walked the dogs and fast asleep by midnight. Several parties in our neighborhood last night.
I recorded both NCAA football games, but both were blowout so won't be watched. Ohio State being shut out was the biggest surprise.
I will watch the Texans vs Titans today, but can't get too excited about a team that has the worst pro offense I've ever seen. How this team has a winning record is something that must be studied, it is a miracle.
For upstream oil & gas companies, this should be a rebound year. The high quality drilling companies like HP, PTEN, PDS, NBR and especially UNT are worth a look. UNT is a former Sweet 16 company. It is listed as a "Driller", but most of their revenues are from the upstream division. It is heavily weighted to natural gas. PDS is #1 in Canada.
